The cornerstone of our program revolves around our ability to provide you with not only an exuberant hunting retriever, but an obedient one as well..whether in the field or at home. |
BASIC RETRIEVER TRAINING:
Includes obedience training, trained retrieve, single
retrieve in field environment and introduction to basic
gun dog skills.
ADVANCED RETRIEVER TRAINING:
Includes blind retrieves, multiple marks, diversion birds,
walk-ups and honoring.
HANDLER/PUPPY OBEDIENCE CLASSES:
(ALL BREEDS)
For handlers with dogs age 7 weeks to 6 months. One
hour training sessions (once per week for 8 weeks) that
help provide basic skills needed to teach and reinforce
obedience. Group setting allows for puppy socialization
skills. NEXT CLASS TO BE ANNOUNCED
HANDLER/PUPPY RETRIEVER CLASSES:
For handlers with retrievers age 7 weeks to 6 months.
One hour training sessions (once per week for 8 weeks)
that provide you with the opportunity to have professional
guidance in the training of your dog in basic obedience
and retrieving. Group setting or individual sessions
available. NEXT CLASS TO BE ANNOUNCED
TRAINING DAYS:
Various hunting scenarios set up in the field for handlers
and their retrievers to run through. Handler need only
bring their dog on lead and a whistle (if used). All other
supplies are provided . Provides exposure to gunfire,
decoys, other dogs/hunters, real birds and hunting
setting with professional trainers on hand to answer any
questions. Lunch for handler included in fee. Live birds
are optional and are additional fee.

less.
